  1. ***MC205fi is a working demo (or free update if you already own the
  2. commercial program!) of MEGA-Check 2 v.2.05 by Chris Muller of Muller
  3. Automation (dated Nov., 1993).  This newest upgrade to this constantly
  4. improving product adds a large number of features, both in increased
  5. speed of execution of a number of functions and in increased
  6. functionality in many other areas.  This is a fully working demo (with
  7. only a 30 transaction limit) will allow you to easily (well, fairly
  8. easily!) track your finances, personal, investment, and business.  GEM
  9. based, it has features that I really appreciate.  It doesn't require you
  10. to learn any arcane language to use it.  It interacts with you in plain
  11. English, and tells you what to do in the same way.  Here are just some
  12. of it's features:  A built-in alarm that won't let you forget to pay
  13. your bills or create a needed report; fully automated checkbook
  14. balancing; prints out your checks on any printer; add or edit any number
  15. of accounts (limited only by your computer's memory);  configurable
  16. warnings when specific account balances get too high or too low (avoid
  17. account charges and limit risks in various investments; run "what if"
  18. projections; track appreciation/ depreciation; add extended notes to any
  19. transaction; built-in address/ phone database; very powerful report
  20. generation--and all in the "background" as well, which increases your
  21. productivity, and extensive on-line help. Color or mono.  ST--TT
  22. compatible (in ST resolutions).  Requires at least one meg of RAM and a
  23. hard disk is recommended.  This file uncompresses to 814K, so you will
  24. either need a hard drive or an extended format disk to uncompress it.
